Ikea coming to Serbia

Minister of Environmental Protection and Spatial Planning Oliver Dulic today stated that Swedish furniture maker Ikea is considering several options for entering the Serbian market, explaining that it is currently acquiring adequate and attractive sites.
Dulic said that Ikea’s arrival shows Serbia’s capability to attract important investors.
Ikea can purchase land from private investors, but we hope it will buy state-owned land. The process of acquiring land is currently underway, Dulic said.
