Dinkic said that Montenegro is one of Serbia’s most important foreign trade partners and that the volume of trade is increasing every year. This year has been an exception though, due to the world economic crisis.
Serbia still regards Montenegro as one of the most important partners for the future, and the agreement on mutual promotion and protection of investments is important, considering the fact that our country now has invested approximately €200 million in Montenegro, said Dinkic and added that Montenegrin investments are expected in Serbia.
The Serbian Deputy Prime Minister said that it is important that protection of investors is guaranteed by this agreement, and expressed his belief that the upcoming period will bring even better bilateral cooperation.
Vujovic said that Serbia is one of the most important foreign trade partners of Montenegro, with a trade volume amounting to between €800 and €900 million a year.
Dinkic and Vujovic stated that the signing of bilateral agreements will contribute to improving the overall economic relations between the two countries, as well as increasing the volume of mutual investments.
