The Serbian Investment and Promotion Agency (SIEPA) stated that a conference about business conditions in Serbia will be held for French businesspeople in Paris tomorrow. The conference is being held by SIEPA in cooperation with the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and the Serbian embassy in Paris.
According to the statement issued by SIEPA more than 60 French companies and consulting firms have already confirmed that they will participate in the conference. Interest has also been expressed by representatives of the oil company Total, the European plane maker EADS and rail and power infrastructure builder Alstom.
The institutions that accepted the invitation to participate include the French Ministry of Economy’s International Technical Cooperation Agency Adetef, as well as several consulting firms that specialize in infrastructure projects.
SIEPA Deputy Director Mirjana Dimitrijevic, Economic Affairs Counsellor at the French embassy in Belgrade Olivier Parquet, Bank Executive Board President of Meridian Bank Credit Agricole Group Francois Edouard Drion will speak at the conference.
The conference in Paris will be an opportunity for French investors to get information about the business climate in Serbia and for Serbia to send out the message that it is a financially stable country which offers an ideal environment for business.
