Following the signing of the agreement on implementing the programme "Support to National Efforts to Promote Youth Employment and Migration Management", Dinkic said that the new package of measures includes the most comprehensive savings measures for public administration since 2000, as well as incentives for employment and infrastructure.
He said that Serbian Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic and relevant ministers will announce the measures in a few days, stressing that the government has decided to halt employment in the public sector for the time being.
Dinkic announced that the state will help the younger generation find employment.
We will launch a project for 10,000 new jobs this year and the state will finance their salaries during the first year, he said.
Another crucial measure will be in the area of public works, where the state plans to set aside RSD 1.2 billion. This programme will be directed primarily toward the most vulnerable members of the population and underdeveloped municipalities, he announced.
