The Serbian Statistics Office said that the average gross salary in Serbia in February 2009 amounted to RSD 43,353, up by 7.7% in nominal terms and 6.3% in real terms against the previous month.
The average take-home salary in February stood at RSD 31,121, which is an increase of 7.8% in nominal terms and 6.4% in real terms against the average salary in January 2009.
Compared with the same month in 2008, the February gross salary rose 12.5% in nominal and 1.9% in real terms, while net salary increased 12.4% in nominal and 1.8% in real terms.
The average gross salary in the period January–February 2009 compared with the same period in 2008 increased 13.2% and 2.9% in nominal and real terms respectively.
Compared with the January–February 2008 average, the average net salary in the period January–February 2009 rose 13.1% in nominal and 2.8% in real terms.
Compared with the same month in 2008, the February gross salary rose 12.5% in nominal and 1.9% in real terms, while net salary increased 12.4% in nominal and 1.8% in real terms.
The average gross salary in the period January–February 2009 compared with the same period in 2008 increased 13.2% and 2.9% in nominal and real terms respectively.
Compared with the January–February 2008 average, the average net salary in the period January–February 2009 rose 13.1% in nominal and 2.8% in real terms.
