According to the statement issued by the Agency there are 3,373 large and medium sized businesses and 108,501 small enterprises in Serbia including 16,210 entrepreneurs who maintained dual accounting and were obliged to submit an annual financial report.
A total of 21,388 or 19% business-people submitted financial reports to the Agency in person, while 81% submitted reports by mail.
The Agency has started processing financial reports and the processing will be finished by June 30.
Processed data on capital, income, expenditure, net profit and the number of employees as well as the name of the accountant for each report will be published on the
Agency’s website.
Businesses which did not submit reports within the deadline can do so later by paying a higher fee.
Failure to submit a financial report to the Agency is a financial offence and businesses that do not submit financial reports for two consecutive years will be marked as inactive.
