SIEPA announces competition for World Food Moscow

The Serbian Investment and Export Promotion Agency (SIEPA) has announced a competition for participation in the World Food Moscow fair, taking place from March 15–18 in Moscow.

SIEPA will organise the attendance of companies at the fair and the deadline for submitting applications is April 3.

World Food Moscow (www.world-food.ru) is the leading food exposition in Russia and other former USSR countries. Last year more than 45.000 specialised buyers and distributers visited the fair and more than 1,326 companies from 63 countries were represented.

Companies which want to participate should have an adequately packaged, competitive product and the capability to export it, must agree that they will cooperate with the organisers when it comes to product quality, packaging, promotional material and appearances at other fairs and must be in majority domestic ownership.

Last year 12 Serbian food companies were presented at this food exposition, which resulted in €14 million in exports. A majority of their clients were from Russia, Ukraine and other former USSR countries, as well as from Italy, Holland, Argentina and Brazil.
