According to the statement 17 Serbian companies will take part in CeBIT and Embedded World, the largest IT expositions when it comes to integrated electronics.
The Serbian IT companies HCP, EURO ICC, Advanced Control Systems, Mihajlo Pupin Institute, Integra Solutions, Mikroelektronika, Bitgear Wireless Design Services and Embedded.rs Klaster will be presented at the Serbian national stand called “Serbia – Knows How”.
Last year more than 700 companies were presented and around 20,000 people visited the largest and most important IT fair.
Despite the global crisis, the exhibition space has been expended by 5% this year and the number of international exhibitors increased by 38%.
Fair director Alexander Mattausch said that this way a positive signal is sent to the international community showing that the integrated electronics industry is stable.
He also highlighted that Serbian companies are taking part in the fair for the first time, which shows that companies in this field are extremely interested in business despite the crisis that has struck the entire world.
SIEPA provided financial and technical support in organising the fair and drafted a joint catalogue of exhibitors at the national stand, adds the statement.
