Farmers able to take loans for Punto

State Secretary at the Ministry of Economy and Regional Development Nebojsa Ciric affirmed that from now on agricultural producers will also be able to take loans for the purchase of Punto, adding that their individual income will be the only precondition for application.
In an interview with the Tanjug news agency, Ciric said that the instructions for the approval of loans to farmers have already been sent to all banks which participate in the government’s loan programme and some of them, such as Komercijalna Banka and Banca Intesa, affirmed that today they have officially started providing loans.
He said that a notice has been published at the website of the Development Fund today and the Fund has also sent detailed instructions to all banks which have signed the agreement.
He added that the income from farms will be recognized as the income of the farm owner, explaining that the profit from the farm will be treated by the bank as the personal income of the farm owner and on the basis of this income farmers will be issued consumer loans for purchasing a Punto or other consumer goods.
