Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Regional Development Mladjan Dinkic was present today at the opening of the first Serbian factory for the production and assembling of robot assembly lines, ICM Electronics in Platicevo, Ruma.

Dinkic said that Serbia has been importing high-tech technology but from now on Serbia is going to produce robot assembly lines by itself.
This event was also attended by Director of the ICM Company from Novi Sad Dragan Micic, Japanese Consul General to Serbia Teruhiko Shinada and the Fanuc Robotics Corporation General Manager Mercou Lionel.
The factory spans more than 1.000 square metres and comprises a hall for the production and assembling of robot lines and an administration building.
The initial investment is worth around €1 million.
