The statement adds that the basic elements of the contract are the purchase price of €5 million, an investment programme worth €30 million and the buyer has accepted both the minimum and additional obligations from the social welfare programme.
The bids for purchasing 70% of Prva Petoletka’s capital were submitted by a consortium of Russian companies, Bummas and Rosmastorg and a consortium comprising Ukraine’s Lvivski Avtobusni Zavody and City Transport Construction Investments Ltd, Great Britain.
The bids were opened on October 31, 2008 and at the second session on December 2, the tender commission adopted the tender list, according to which the consortium Bummas–Rosmastorg was declared the first-ranked bidder, concludes the statement.
