A Serbian delegation, led by Minister for Kosovo-Metohija Goran Bogdanovic, today visited Gracanica and opened a new digital post office, which will function as part of the Serbian Post.

Bogdanovic said that RSD 8 million was set aside for the construction of the post office, which will provide better communication between Serbs from Kosovo-Metohija and other parts of Serbia.
He stressed that Serbia’s aim is to strengthen Kosovo institutions, maintain the policy of territorial integrity and sovereignty and provide assistance to Kosovo Serbs.
The Minister said that the aim of his visit to Gracanica is to become familiar with the situation in the central part of Kosovo, following the deployment of EULEX.
Serbia will not give up the six-item plan, as its aim is to ensure security and freedom of movement for Serbs, added the Minister.
Bogdanovic said that the government is making efforts to bring Serbs back to Kosovo, adding that Serbia will continue negotiations with foreign officials in this respect and Belgrade will never endorse the temporary Kosovo government’s decisions or the Kosovo Constitution.
Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government Milan Markovic said that Serbia’s aim is not to provide social help for Serbs but to create conditions in which they will be able to earn their own living.
State Secretary at the Ministry for Kosovo-Metohija Zvonimir Stevic said that the Ministry will set aside RSD 200 million for the development of SMEs in Kosovo-Metohija.
The Serbian delegation distributed New Year presents to children from the Gracanica kindergarten.
