The Serbian Statistics Office said that the average gross salary in Serbia in September 2008 amounted to RSD 46,015, down by 0.45% in nominal terms and 1.34% in real terms against the previous month.
The average take-home salary in September stood at RSD 32,969, which is a fall of 0.49% in nominal terms and 1.38% in real terms against the average salary in August 2008.
Compared with the same month in 2007, the September gross salary rose 17.06% nominally and 5.84% in real terms.
The average gross salary in September 2008, compared with the gross salary in September 2007, rose by 17.06% in nominal and 5.84% in real terms.
The average net salary in September 2008 in comparison with September 2007 went up nominally by 17.07% and by 5.85% in real terms.
Compared with the January-September 2007 average, the average salary in the period January–September 2008 rose 18.89% nominally and 4.47% in real terms.
The average gross salary paid out in Serbia in the period from January to September this year, compared to the average gross salary in the same period in 2007, is nominally up by 19.38% and by 4.17% in real terms.
The average net salary in the period January–September 2008, compared to the average net salary in the same period in 2007, is nominally up by 19% and in real terms by 4.57%.
