The statement adds that 94% of the total available funds consist of monetary revenues and 6% of goods.
Salary for regular jobs had the largest share in monetary revenues and stood at 54.3% while 29.5% consisted of pensions.
Personal expenditures in households in Serbia amounted to RSD 37,656, of which the largest part was spent on food and non-alcoholic beverages (43.5%).
At the state level, 51% of available monetary funds in household budgets in the second quarter of 2008 consisted of income from regular jobs, in central Serbia (without the City of Belgrade) 45.5%, Vojvodina 51.5% and the City of Belgrade 59.3%.
Pensions, (retirement funds, family, disability and other) at the state level made up 27.7% of the household budget, in central Serbia (without City of Belgrade) 27.3%, Vojvodina 27.3% and the City of Belgrade 28.8%.
Consumer and investment loans at the state level stood at 1.7%, while other income (savings, insurance compensations and similar) amounted to 4.6%.
Expenditure on goods was 5.9% at the national level, in central Serbia (without the City of Belgrade) 9.4%, Vojvodina 4.9% and the City of Belgrade 1.1%.
Average monthly personal expenses per household at the state level stood at RSD 37,656, in central Serbia (without the City of Belgrade) RSD 36,054, Vojvodina RSD 35,350 and the City of Belgrade RSD 43,963.
The share of central Serbia (without the City of Belgrade) in the structure of per household expenditure on food and non-alcoholic beverages of total expenditure was worth 45.6%, in Vojvodina 41% and the City of Belgrade 41.9%.
The share of household expenditure on housing, water, electricity gas and other fuels in Vojvodina was 15.8%, in central Serbia (without the City of Belgrade) 13.5% and the City of Belgrade 13.9%.
Monthly expenditure on health services in central Serbia (without the City of Belgrade) per household was RSD 1,309 and in the City of Belgrade RSD 2.080.
Average monthly expenditure per household on communication in central Serbia (without the City of Belgrade) was RSD 1,227, in Vojvodina RSD 1,163 and in the City of Belgrade RSD 1,500.
At the state level, households on average per month spent 9.5% of income on transportation, 5% on clothes and footwear, 4.6% on household maintenance and 4.5% on recreation and culture.
These statistics were obtained through surveys on household expenditure, which have been implemented since 2003 according to the international standards of EUROSTAT, ILO and the UN.
