The Serbian President’s press service announced last night that at the second session of the National Infrastructure Council, chaired by President Tadic, it was decided that before end-September the council should propose to the government a national plan for the construction of the complete road and rail road Corridor 10.
The council was informed that the consortium Alpina–Porr sent an official invitation for a mutual termination of the concession contract for Horgos-Pozega.
The council agreed to resume talks on the termination of the contract and find the best possible solution in Serbia’s interest.
Also present at the session were Serbian Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Regional Development Mladjan Dinkic, Minister of Infrastructure Milutin Mrkonjic, Minister of Energy and Mining Petar Skundric, Minister of Finance Diana Dragutinovic, Minister for Telecommunication and Information Society Jasna Matic, Minister of Environment and Spatial Planning Oliver Dulic, Minister for the National Investment Plan Verica Kalanovic, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Sasa Dragin, president of the Vojvodina Executive Council Bojan Pajtic and Belgrade Mayor Dragan Djilas.
