The Serbian Statistics Office has said that the average gross salary in the Republic of Serbia in July 2008 amounted to RSD 46,115, up by 1.11% in nominal terms and 2.23% in real terms against the previous month.
The average take-home salary in July stood at RSD 33,058, which is a rise of 1.26% in nominal terms and 2.39% in real terms against the average salary in May 2008.
Compared with the same month in 2007, the July gross salary rose 19.12% nominally and 3.67% in real terms.
Compared with the January-July 2008 average, the July net salary rose 19.35% nominally and 4.29% in real terms.
The average gross salary paid out in Serbia in the period from January to July this year, compared to the average gross salary in the same period in 2007, is nominally up by 19.38% and by 4.17% in real terms.
The average net salary in the period from January to July 2008, compared to the average net salary in the same period in 2007, is nominally up by 19.46% and in real terms by 4.15%.
