Public invitation for RTB Bor announced

The Serbian Privatisation Agency stated that it has announced the public invitation for submitting letters of interest in strategic partnership regarding the privatisation of Mining and Metallurgical Complex RTB Bor.
The statement adds that the invitation has been announced in the Financial Times and the Serbian daily Politika.
The RTB Bor group includes the Copper Mine Bor, Copper Mine Majdanpek and Copper Smeltery and Refinery, all three in restructuring.
The deadline for submitting letters of interest is September 30 this year, and access to data rooms will be enabled from August 1 until September 26 in company premises in Bor and Majdanpek.
In order to attract renowned copper producers and processors as strategic partners in this process, the Privatisation Agency has determined the necessary conditions, such as that prospective partners must already be copper producers and/or processors and that their production in the past business year had to exceed 80,000 tonnes of concentrated copper and/or 100,000 tonnes of cathode copper.
