This Brownfield investment provides for the opening of the new Eanos cargo wagons production line which should become operational in late August.
Dinkic expressed expectation that Serbian Railways will start buying wagons from Gosa and recalled that 80% of Gosa’s production is exported, mainly to France.
Dinkic said that four wagons are manufactured daily in the factory in line with the highest international standards.
He expressed conviction that Gosa will continue to develop, and added that currently the factory employs 1,000 workers. He said that the new production line will definitely help Serbia improve its trade balance, and provide Serbian Railways with domestically produced modern wagons.
The Gosa factory competed for non-repayable funds distributed by the Serbian Investment and Export Promotion Agency for new investments at the end of May, and for the investment project to build a factory for producing Eanos cargo wagons.
The project is worth €2,067,330 and Gosa also received a sum of €750,000 for creating 300 new jobs.
