Representatives of Serbian firms, who arrived last night in Moscow, are headed by State Secretary of the Serbian Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Ljubisa Dimitrijevic and head of the Department for European Integration in the Ministry of Trade and Services Radomir Bubanja.
Serbian Ambassador to Russia Stanimir Vukicevic said during the talks between representatives of Serbian firms and Seventh Continent’s finance director Aleksandar Rusnjak and sales director Vladimir Samarov, that Serbia is ready to re-establish its products on the Russian market, which has still not forgotten the high quality of products from Serbia.
He pointed to the importance of such contacts and said that they are an additional confirmation of the high level of relations between Serbia and Russia.
Director of the representative office of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce in Russia Sasa Gmijovic said that Russian representatives expressed a wish to cooperate with Serbian companies and satisfaction with the offer on the table.
Representatives of the following companies took part in the talks: Juhor-Eksport from Jagodina, Neoplanta from Novi Sad, Bambi from Pozarevac, PIK Juzni Banat from Bela Crkva, PIK Becej from Becej, Prima Produkt from Subotica and Agrokom from Vrbas.
Companies which presented their range of products were Rubin from Krusevac and Vino Zupa from Aleksandrovac, meat industry Zlatibor from Cajetina, Vujic Voda from Valjevo, Vitamin from Horgos, Aleva from Novi Knezevac and NIS Jazak Voda from Novi Sad.
It is expected that other companies will also enter the Moscow market, such as Centroproizvod, Beohemija and Foodland from Belgrade, as well as Zitko from Backa Topola, Kondiva from Bujanovac, Big Bull from Bacinci, Carnex from Vrbas and Greni Eksport from Gornja Trnava.
The Seventh Continent franchise has 137 hypermarkets, supermarkets and deluxe category facilities, of which over 110 are in Moscow.
Serbian representatives will tomorrow visit the international franchise Metro Cash&Carry in Moscow.
