First severance pay instalment for Zastava workers

The Serbian Ministry of Economy and Regional Development stated that the first severance pay instalment amounting to €100 per year of service for workers of the Zastava group companies, who accepted voluntary redundancy, was paid today.
The payment of this severance pay is envisaged by the Protocol signed on May 6 between the Ministry of Economy and Regional Development and trade union representatives at the Zastava factory.
The second instalment will paid within 30 days at the latest from the day the agreement with Fiat group is signed, it is added in the statement.
