The Serbian Statistics Office stated today that the average take-home salary paid in April stood at RSD 45,355, which is 5.79% or 3.92% up in nominal and real terms respectively against the month before.
The average take-home salary in April was RSD 32,562, which is nominally 5.69% more than in March, or 3.82% up in real terms.
Compared with the same month of 2007, April salary grew 22.19% in nominal and 5.52% in real terms.
The salary without taxes and contributions paid out in April 2008 was nominally 22.27% higher against April 2007, or 5.59% in real terms.
Average salary in January-April 2008 against the same period of 2007 was 20.05% or 5.31% higher in nominal and realistic terms.
The nominal growth of the take-home salary in the same period grew 20.25% whereas the realistic growth was 5.48% against January-April 2007.
