A:

Decision on objection by East Point Holding Ltd to be made

Belgrade, 11 March 2008

The Serbian Privatisation Agency stated that it submitted its opinion today to the Serbian Ministry of Economy and Regional Development concerning the objection of company East Point Holding Ltd from Cyprus regarding the privatisation of Jugoslovensko Recno Brodarstvo (JRB) company.

The Agency believe that the objection was not filed on time since Article 32 paragraph 2 of the Law on privatisation states that an objection is to be submitted within eight days from the day results of the public tender are received.

Since the Agency sent the results of the tender to all bidders on November 9 last year and that East Point Holding Ltd received them on November 12, it is clear that the objection is untimely, something that the company must have been aware of. The Ministry of Economy and Regional Development will decide on further steps concerning the objection of that company.
