According to the statement, Njegos is the third company to be sold through a public tender by the Privatisation Agency during the recent period whose sale price has broken the RSD 1 billion mark. On February 29 the Hotel Splendid was sold for RSD 1.01 billion and the company David Pajic –Daka for RSD 1.26 billion.
This is a continuation of very successful sales in bankruptcy procedures, where the Privatisation Agency acts as official receiver.
Late last year, Robne Kuce Beograd department store chain was sold for €360 million, while the retail outlet of company Jugoeksport, in Knez Mihailova Street, was sold for €33,000 per square metre.
