Serbian mineral water producer Knjaz Milos and LLC 12 signed a memorandum of understanding on Aug 6 to form a strategic partnership that will allow Knjaz Milos to further develop production, strengthen its position as leader in the domestic market, bolster its access to the global marker, protect workers and improve work conditions.
The memorandum, signed by Knaz Milos General Manager Radenko Marjanovic, LLC 12 owner Vlade Divac and Serbian Privatisation Agency Director Miodrag Djordjevic, stipulates a recapitalisation of Knjaz Milos, as well as purchase of shares from the Share Fund and small shareholders wishing to sell.
Knjaz Milos, the largest producer of mineral water and beverages in the region, was privatised in 2001. Shareholders control a 58.72 percent stake, while the Share Fund owns the remaining 41.28 percent of shares.
