The Serbian Statistics Office stated that the average gross salary in Serbia in January this year stood at RSD 39,331 which is nominally down by 18.27% and in real terms by 18.92% compared to December 2007.
The average net salary in January 2008 was RSD 28,230 which compared to the average net salary paid out in December 2007, is nominally less by 18.11% and in real terms by 18.76%.
The average gross salary paid out in Serbia this January compared to the average gross salary in January 2007 went up nominally by 16.47%, and by 3.71% in real terms.
The average net salary in January 2008, compared to the average net salary in the same period in 2007, went up nominally by 17.03% and in real terms by 4.21%.
