In a statement to the news agency Tanjug, Dinkic said that foreign trade is growing in imports as well as exports, and pointed to the fact that France, which has until now invested $400 million in foreign direct investments, is currently the tenth import market of Serbia.
He added that tourism is also growing, and this year alone there were 26% more French tourists in Serbia in comparison to last year.
Dinkic said last evening at the opening of the exhibition that he wishes this event, which presents Serbian culture and wealth in tourism, becomes a tradition.
He stressed that the exhibition “Serbia in Paris”, which was prepared by the Serbian Investment and Export Promotion Agency (SIEPA) in cooperation with the Paris Chamber of Commerce, is an opportunity for Serbia to present its culture, products, business potential and offer in tourism.
The Paris Chamber of Commerce estimates that the exhibition will receive a minimum of 10,000 French visitors during the four days while it lasts.
Apart from tourism offers and Serbian products, work by Serbian artists living in France is also being presented at the exhibition.
