The Serbian Privatisation Agency stated that the tender commission for the sale of Jugoslovensko Recno Brodarstvo company from Belgrade, specialising in transport of goods on the Danube, today decided to approve results of the public tender according to which the consortium made of Tamoza Trading Ltd. from Cyprus and Daxin Petroleum PTE Ltd. from Singapore is declared the first-ranked bidder.
The second is the consortium consisting of Palmali Shipping SA and Palmali Holding Company Ltd. from Malta, the third is East Point Holdings Ltd. from Cyprus and the fourth is Transport Trade Services SA.
The basic elements of the first-ranked offer are the purchase price of €32,250,000, the investment programme worth €10 million and unconditional acceptance of the minimum of obligations from the social welfare programme.
After the proclamation of the tender list, the Serbian Privatisation Agency will start negotiations on concluding the sales agreement.
In case the negotiations are successfully completed, the Agency will sign a contract on sale of capital with the first-ranked bidder within 30 days from the expiry of deadline for informing bidders about the results of the tender, in line with legal provisions.
