The tender documentation was purchased by 12 potential investors, and these are "Navichart N.V." from the Channel Islands, "Transport trade services" S.A. from Romania, "Tamoza trading" Ltd. from Cyprus, "Bulgarian river shipping" J.S.Co. from Bulgaria and "UBA-United business activities holding AG" from Switzerland.
The tender documentation was also purchased by "Rhenus AG&CO.KG" from Germany, JS "North western shipping company" from Russia, "East point holdings" Ltd from Cyprus, "Inter- export" d.o.o. from Belgrade, "Palmali holding company limited" from Malta, "Delta M" d.o.o. from Belgrade and "Dunaferr portolan forwarding" Ltd from Hungary.
By the deadline for submitting offers, August 27, five companies submitted bids, and these are "East point holdings limited", "Inter-export" and "Transport trade services"S.A., a consortium consisting of "Palmali shipping" SA and "Palmali holding company limited" and a consortium consisting of "Tamoza trading" Ltd. and "Daxin petroleum Pte" Ltd. from Singapore.
The tender commission concluded that bidders "East point holdings limited", "Transport trade services" S.A. and the two consortiums fulfil the requirements, while the bid from "Inter- exporta" was rejected as incomplete.
Financial and legal advisors of the Privatisation Agency will evaluate the bids within 30 days at the most from the day of opening them and will present the results to members of the tender commission at the next session.
