Milivojevic said that something like that is not specified in the agreement, but there are no obstacles to enlargement either.
She said that it is very important that criteria for EU membership are not included into the text of the agreement and that the European Court of Justice will not be able to interpret whether a country has fulfilled the criteria or not, but that that will be estimated by the European Commission and the EU Council.
In terms of institutional changes, the role of the EU representative for foreign policy and security, currently Javier Solana, has been significantly increased, Milivojevic said.
She said that the introduction of the function of president of the European Council, instead of the previous rotating chairmanship is very important and that will affect Serbia's foreign policy.
We will no longer be focused on one country which holds the EU presideny at one specific moment, but on a person who will be the EU president, Milivojevic said, adding that it is very important who that person will be.
