Minister of Defence Bratislav Gašić and his counterpart from the Republic of Azerbaijan Colonel General Zakir Hasanov today laid wreaths at memorials in Tašmajdan Park in Belgrade, as part of the official visit of the Azerbaijani delegation to Serbia.

On this occasion, the ministers laid wreaths at the monument to former President of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev.
Afterwards, Gašić and Hasanov laid wreaths at the monument to the prominent Serbian writer Milorad Pavić, and then laid flowers at the Monument to the Children Victims of NATO Aggression in Tašmajdan Park.
As part of the official visit, a ceremonial welcome and a meeting of delegations from the ministries of defence of Serbia and Azerbaijan will be held tomorrow.
