Loncar voiced hope that Serbian schools and universities will be completely integrated into the European education system by 2010.
I believe that education will be first area where we will enter Europe first, said Loncar.
According to Loncar, the state will continue to help talented students with loans and scholarships, and the Bologna Process will open up opportunities for them to transfer their knowledge to the country best suited. He added that he believes that Serbia will become the country of choice for them until they finish their studies.
Rector of the Belgrade University Branko Kovacevic welcomed the students and stressed that the Education Minister decided to mark the beginning of the new school year by addressing students at the Electro-Technical Faculty which is one of the most prestigious in Belgrade.
