Milosavljevic said that medical workers are dedicated to caring for people’s health and that health cannot be a privilege but one of the most important human rights.
The right to a healthy life means that everyone has equal chances and conditions to preserve their health, improve it and get medical attention when needed. If we look at it that way, health will be our best investment for the future, he said.
According to Milosavljevic, a characteristic of a good health system is solidarity at the national level, solidarity of the healthy and the sick, young and old, rich and poor, and at the international level it implies a partnership in solving global issues.
Milosavljevic also said that this year’s "Medifarm" fair is much better organised than before and voiced hope that next year it will be held in the largest hall of the Belgrade Fairgrounds.
Over 100 foreign and domestic exhibitors are taking part in this year’s fair of medical, pharmaceutical, dental, laboratory and veterinary equipment.
In hall 2 of the Belgrade Fairgrounds, the latest electric medical equipment, laboratory machines, dental equipment, medical vehicles and other items will be exhibited until September 28.
