Media Advisor to the Serbian Prime Minister Srdjan Djuric condemned the statement of the Czech Republic Minister of Foreign Affairs Karel Schwarcenberg who said that the Munich Agreement from 1938 could be a model for solving the Kosovo-Metohija status.
In a statement to the Beta news agency, Djuric stressed that Schwarcenberg’s statement is scandalous because he voiced hope that the solution based on the Munich Agreement, by way of which Hitler dismembered Czechoslovakia, could bring peace and stability to the Serbian province.
You would think that the Czech Republic is the last country in the world to give consent to resolving issues in the 21st century Europe on the basis of the Munich Agreement, said Djuric.
