Hague to get remaining evidence files by October 1

President of the National Council for Cooperation with the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia Rasim Ljajic met with Tribunal’s Chief Prosecutor Carla Del Ponte as part of her two-day visit to Belgrade.

The meeting mainly concerned submittal of remaining evidence files from Serbia to the court, which will be completed by October 1.
The meeting also disused other issues related to cooperation with the tribunal and it was agreed that Serbia should fulfill obligations to extradite the remaining Hague indictees.
