Agreement on cooperation of civil institutions of Serbia and Ohio reached

Serbian Minister of Youth and Sports Snezana Samardzic-Markovic and Commander of the Ohio National Guard Major-General Greg Weight voiced hope today that cooperation between Serbia and Ohio will develop in the fields of tourism, investments and economy.
Samardzic-Markovic said that so far, attention has been paid to cooperation between the guard and the Serbian Army, but at this meeting possibilities of exchange of young people from Serbia and Ohio were discussed, as well as examples of good practice in the fight against violence in sports.
State Secretary for Tourism of the Serbian Ministry of Economy and Regional Development Goran Petkovic pointed to the importance of attracting tourists from the US to Serbia.
General Weight gave as a gift to Minister Samardzic-Markovic a baseball with the coat of arms of the National Guard of Ohio, as a symbol of beginning of development of civil relations between Serbia and Ohio.
