Serbian Minister of Education Zoran Loncar signed today contracts with students who were awarded scholarships from the Fund for Young Talents, according to which 16 post graduate students will study at the University of Nottingham during this year.
A
decision was brought at the session of the Fund for Young Talents, which was held on September 14, that scholarships worth RSD 830,000 each will be distributed among students who were admitted for masters or doctoral studies at Nottingham University in the UK.
Loncar said on the occasion of handing out the scholarships that candidates to whom these scholarships were awarded submitted applications and fulfilled the conditions set by the fund. He recalled that the Fund for Young Talents, which is presided over by Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica, brought the decision to give special importance to best students.
He said that by the beginning of next year a public competition will be announced for all kinds of scholarships for the upcoming school year which the fund has held also until now, in which the fund has clear and precise criteria and conditions under which it received funds for all scholarships.
