WHO Regional Office for Europe, Serbian government ink agreement on cooperation

Serbian Minister of Health Tomica Milosavljevic Regional Director of World Health Organisation (WHO) Regional Office for Europe Mark Danzon signed yesterday a agreement on cooperation for 2008 and 2009.
Priorities of the agreement focus on prevention and control of non-contagious diseases, human resources for the development of health system, development of health system and capacity building to respond to various threats to heath safety.
The planned budget for the 2008/2009 period provided by the WHO amounts to $1.475 million.
