The first seven months of 2007 saw a 5.1% increase against the same period last year.
Observed by sectors, electric power, gas and water supply saw a growth of 7.8%, mining and quarrying increased 6.3% whereas manufacturing 2.7%.
The production of the following goods recorded a rise: capital goods by 26.4%, durable consumer goods by 22.7%, energy by 8.6%, intermediate products, energy excluded, by 7.5% while a 7.1% fall was recorded for non-durable consumer goods.
Industrial production volume in July recorded a growth in 17 divisions that in the structure of industrial production participate with 74% whereas fall was recorded in 12 divisions that in the structure of industrial production participate with 26%.
The largest positive influence on the industrial production growth in July 2007 compared to July 2006 had the divisions of: manufacture of machinery and equipment, except electrical, generation of electricity, manufacture of food products, manufacture of basic metals and manufacture of electrical machinery and devices.
The seasonal adjustment of the industrial production index for July 2007, compared to the 2006 average, indicates a 6.1% growth of the overall industrial production and a 5.9% growth of manufacturing.
