Kostunica congratulates 50th class officers of national defence school

Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica congratulated today officers of the 50th class of the national defence school on completion of their education.

I am sure that this generation will continue to maintain, keep and develop in the army the true spirit of patriotism, constantly trying to justify the big trust and respect of the Serbian people to the army, said Kostunica.
Serbia is today fighting for its integrity and wholeness of its territory and to protect its people in Kosovo-Metohija and I strongly believe that a just and sustainable solution for Kosovo can be reached only through true negotiations within the framework set by the Constitution of Serbia, UN Charter and Helsinki Final Act, Kostunica said.
Continuation of strengthening and restoration of the Serbian Army is the best response for all challenges and threats that jeopardise Serbia’s security, and such Serbian Army will contribute to peace and stability not only of Serbia but the whole region, the Prime Minister said in the greeting.
