The statement adds that experts from the Ministry of Economy and Regional Development, Ministry of Trade and Services, Ministry of Finance and other competent institutions will present government’s activities on implementation of priorities from the European Partnership regarding standardisation, metrology, accreditations and market supervision, as well as harmonisation of domestic regulations with corresponding EU legislature.
As for industrial policy, the meeting will look at development of small and medium-sized enterprises and tourism in Serbia and will particularly discuss trade-related issues – ratification and enforcement of CEFTA agreement, development of administrative capacities in this sector, as well as defining future priorities in this remit.
It will pay special attention to the implementation of customs and tax regulations, primarily regarding VAT, excise tax and direct taxing, adds the statement.
