The cargo-transportation centre covers the area of more than 8,000 square metres and is the first part of a greenfield investment worth €6 million.
President of Intereuropa's management Andrej Lovsin said that this company plans to invest between €15 million and €20 million in the next five years into new logistic capacities and motor pool in Serbia.
General Manager of Intereuropa company - logistic services Belgrade Nemanja Kacavenda said that the new cargo-transportation centre in Dobanovci will facilitate exchange of goods in Serbia and with foreign countries because it is located on the ring road around Belgrade and the road to Novi Sad.
He said that that daughter firm of Intereuropa company in Serbia, which employs some 120 people and has 10 branch offices in the country, plans to expand its business operations to the territory of western Serbia and Vojvodina.
Intereuropa employs a total of 2,300 workers and apart from Slovenia and Serbia, it does business in France, Germany, Austria, Russia, the Ukraine, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Macedonia, and it also plans to open a branch office in Montenegro.
The ceremony in Dobanovci was also attended by Slovenian Minister of Economy Andrej Vizjak.
