According to the statement, 92.9% of the budget consisted of monetary funds, and 7.1% of the income was in goods.
Salary for regular jobs had the largest share in monetary income worth 47.7% while 32.2% consisted of pensions.
Personal expenditures in households in Serbia were RSD 34,713, of which the largest part was spent on food and non-alcoholic beverages, making up 38.3%.
At the state level, 44.2% of monetary funds in household budgets in the first quarter of 2007 consisted of income from regular jobs, in central Serbia (without the City of Belgrade) 39.9%, Vojvodina 40.9% and the City of Belgrade 54.4%.
Pensions, (retirement funds, family, disability and other) at the state level made up 30% of the household budget, in central Serbia (without City of Belgrade) 31%, Vojvodina 27.7% and the City of Belgrade 30.1%.
Consumer and investment loans at the state level stood at 2.7%, while other income (savings, insurance compensations and similar) were worth 4.7%.
Expenditure on goods was 7.1% at the national level, in central Serbia (without the City of Belgrade) 10.1%, Vojvodina 6% and the City of Belgrade 3.1%.
Average monthly personal expenses per household on the Republic level stood at RSD 34,713, in central Serbia (without the City of Belgrade) RSD 31,819, Vojvodina RSD 30,861 and the City of Belgrade RSD 45,755.
The share of central Serbia (without the City of Belgrade) in the structure of per household expenditure on food and non-alcoholic beverages of total expenditure was worth 41.4%, in Vojvodina 34.7% and the City of Belgrade 36.8%.
The share of households in expenditure on housing, water, electricity gas and other fuels in Vojvodina was worth 17.6%, in central Serbia (without the City of Belgrade) 15% and the City of Belgrade 13.6%.
Monthly expenditure on health services in central Serbia (without the City of Belgrade) per household was RSD 1,209 and in the City of Belgrade RSD 2.271.
Average monthly expenditure per household on communication in central Serbia (without the City of Belgrade) was RSD 1,070, in Vojvodina RSD 869 and in the City of Belgrade RSD 1,579.
At the state level, households on average per month spent 11.2% of income on transportation, 6.7% on clothes and footwear, 5% on household maintenance and 4.4% on recreation and cultural activities.
These statistics were obtained through surveys on household expenditure, which have been implemented since 2003 according to the international standards of EUROSTAT, ILO and the UN.
