Tolimir arrested in Republika Srpska

Member of the National Council for Cooperation with the Hague Tribunal Zoran Loncar stated today that Hague indictee Zdravko Tolimir was arrested on the territory of Republika Srpska.
In a statement to the Beta news agency, Loncar said that Tolimir was arrested in a joint operation of the Serbian and Republika Srpska intelligence services in the border area on Republika Srpska territory, as was stated by the country’s interior ministry soon after the arrest.
Loncar added that Tolimir’s claim that he had previously been hiding on Serbia’s territory and his insistence on being a citizen of Serbia only confirm that there was a clear obligation on the part of Serbia’s state organs to participate in the arrest.
