During the talks with representatives of the Disability Organisation of Vojvodina in Novi Sad, Ljajic said that in order to improve the position of the disabled, a national council of disability organisations will be set up, supported by the
European Disability Forum (EDF).
He underlined that help and support from the state is what disabled persons need the most and that we must change the tendency to only remember those people on the Day of the Disabled Persons.
On June 15 the Ministry will present its working strategy, in which a special place will be given to the most vulnerable social groups - disabled persons, pensioners, unemployed, refugees and children without parental care.
