White said that since 2001 EAR invested nearly €1 billion in the Serbian energy infrastructure, €450 million of which in heating infrastructure.
According too him, apart from Valjevo, heating plants are being built in Cacak, Uzice, Subotica and Pancevo.
White noted that EAR will invest €3.8 million in Valjevo heating plant while the rest will be provided from the municipal budget and from commercial bank loans.
Thanks to a donation of the Czech government, Kolubara 2 heating pipe will be reconstructed and a new heating pipe from Kolubara 2 to the city centre will be built.
The first phase of the heating plant should be complete by the beginning of the heating season in October.
