Jovic told Tanjug that an average of the total insured is nearly €40 million, or RSD 323 million.
He explained that the state subsidises nearly 30% of the amount of housing loans while the rest is credited by banks.
According to him, there are no housing loan requests at the moment as all requests submitted by May 8 are approved.
The total amount of insured loans in the National Corporation for Housing Loan Insurance by May 8 this year reached approximately €362.7 million, and of that sum €86.2 million are subsidised loans for those younger than 45.
The number of loans insured in the Corporation reached 12,480, of which 3,416 are loans subsidised by the Serbian government.
April 2007 was a record month for the Corporation because that month it insured almost 1,300 housing loans of over €41 million, of which 330 loans were subsidised by the Serbian government in the amount of approximately €8.5 million.
