State Secretary at the Ministry of International Economic Relations Vlatko Sekulovic stated that direct foreign investment in Serbia in the two first months of the year reached $737 million, which is about the same amount as in the same period last year.

Sekulovic told Beta that largest investments came from Austria, Slovenia and other EU countries.
He added that the fact that the new government has not been formed does not negatively affect the amount of foreign investment in Serbia, according to data from the National Bank of Serbia (NBS).
