According to the statement, it is planned that more than 300 surveyors will be engaged for this purpose, with written authorisation by the Serbian Statistical Office, and the data obtained will be used solely for statistical purposes. Its publication will be executed only in aggregate form in individual demographic and economic categories.
In order to ensure that the statistics are representative, and specific demands for monitoring living conditions of particular groups are satisfied, the living standards measurement survey will be conducted with a national sample of more than 7,000 households, and with a sample of approximately 2,000 households consisting of internally displaced persons and 300 households of displaced Roma.
By the end of 2007 and beginning of 2008, preliminary results will be announced, as well as the technical report on the website of the Serbian Statistical Office, reads the statement.
