Tender sale of sugar plant “Zrenjanin” from Zrenjanin declared unsuccessful

The Serbian Privatisation Agency stated that the tender commission in charge of the sale of 60.54203% of the total registered capital of the sugar plant “Zrenjanin” from Zrenjanin brought the decision to declare the tender unsuccessful.
According to the statement the commission decided at its first session held yesterday that no bids were submitted by the deadline on March 30.
The tender for sale of the 60.54203% of the total registered capital of “Zrenjanin” was announced on December 28, 2006, and tender documentation was bought within the deadline by companies, “Zitoprodukt” from Zrenjanin and “Agroglobe” from Novi Sad.
The deadline for buying tender documentation was March 7, and the deadline for submitting bids was March 23, which was extended by the Agency at the request of the participants in the tender sale until March 30.
