School for education of adults Mikronet received the first award in the amount of €3,000, Sajkl won €2,000 whereas the third placed winner Neimar Elektro, received €1,000.
BAT representative Mihailo Crnobrnja said that BAT and the Agency started this project in December 2006 as part of which 25 entrepreneurs from Belgrade participated in a five-day free training programme.
Executive Director of the Sector for Development and International Cooperation in the Agency Ana Zegarac said that the aim of this programme is to show that large multinational companies can help the development of entrepreneurship in Serbia as well as to prove how important it is to base the economy on knowledge.
She said that out of all 86,000 registered companies in Serbia, 98% are small and medium-sized ones, and also added that 167,000 shops are currently open in the country.
